The age 3 milestone marks the transition from toddler to a young child. Children’s movements become smoother and more coordinated between the ages of 3 and 6. This is a good age for parents to introduce basic yoga movements to develop his or her range of motion. Movement is essential to enable children’s development. Researchers have found that it connects all the brain functions, and opens the channels of communication between the left and right hemispheres, which in turn helps the brain to grow normally.
